Carers FIRST is a growing charity supporting adult and young carers working in the districts of South and North West Kent, Medway, Lincolnshire, Essex and the London Boroughs of Waltham Forest and Haringey  A carer is anyone who looks after a relative or friend who due to ill health, physical or mental illness, disability, frailty or addiction, cannot manage without their support.

Salary: £17,855 per annum

Hours: 37 Hours per week or Job Share (2 x 18.5 hours per week)

Carer Support and Assessment Co-ordinator (Carers Hub)

Salary: £20,415 FTE (Pro Rata Salary £11,035)

Hours: 20 per week.

Location: Central Hub (Strood)

The postholder will work within our busy Carers Hub team providing information and advice to carers on the telephone, e-chat and email. Being the first point of contact for carers, you will be required to provide tailored information, advice, and guidance undertaking a proportionate assessment of carers needs and where appropriate assist with support planning.

Inclusion Project Lead

Salary: £20,250 per annum (Pro Rata Salary £12,040)

Hours: 22 per week

Location: East Lindsey Locality (Remote working) Lincolnshire

The successful candidate will be able to work under their own initiative, to develop and co-ordinate successful strategies that will enhance community engagement and reduce social isolation, in particular for those with lived experience of caring for a relative or friend. You will have a strong commitment to community empowerment having had experience of working on projects with an emphasis on decreasing social isolation. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential to this role as is the ability to liaise with many other partner organisations.
