Hi - I don't really have a favourite recipe - but I do enjoy making Energy Bars. Love the nuts and fruit and that they are natural. No added preservatives or hidden ingredients.... healthy snack is always my favourite :-)

I was listening to the radio this morning and Sandy Toksvig was on. What an interesting and well informed lady she is...I would definitely love to have her round for dinner and listen to all the amazing stories and facts she could tell me. Very funny too! :-D

I would like dinner with Gordon Ramsey - he could cook and wash up - would like seafood and a lovely baked Cheesecake - not sure hed be much of a conversationist but as a cook thats ok .

I have no real favourite recipes but Suppose my go to is a frittata - this can be frozen and potions can be used for breakfast and meals with added salad

I am obsessed with the slow cooker and batch cooking/prepping - easily make 6 meals in one go, to have over a several days and stick a couple in the freezer. I make things like chilli, spag bol, veg/ meat curry, beef/ chicken stews, always looking for recipes as it can get a little repetitive but such an economical and easy way to prepare a large quantity of meals with minimal effort/ prep. Sometimes I prepare a load of veg in advance or buy pre-prepped veg but this works out a bit more expensive.

I can share some simple recipes if anyone is interested, or would like to share any of their own as i'm always on the look out for new slow cooker recipes or ones that can be adapted?

I’d love you to share some recipes, Cup_of_coffee. I have a slow cooker but it’s gathering dust. I need inspiration!

I’ve been thinking about my fantasy dinner party guests and have decided on:
Bill Bryson
Victoria Wood
Leonard Cohen
Michelle Obama
James Corden (dining room karaoke?)
