Fundraising

Carers FIRST currently receives funding from Kent, Essex and Lincolnshire County Councils, Medway Council, and the London Boroughs of Waltham Forest Haringey Councils and from Grants and Trusts. However, raising funds to run events and much needed respite activities for Carers remains challenging. We therefore rely on donations from groups and individuals as well as organised events.

If you would like to make a donation, or would like to get involved or organise a fundraising event, no matter how small or big, we would love to hear from you. You can either use the “contact us” facility on this website, email fundraising@carersfirst.org.uk or call us on 0300 303 1555

There are several ways you can support us:

Virgin Money Giving

This is a simple way to make one off or regular donations to Carers FIRST through this site. Don’t forget if you are a UK tax payer to tick the box so we can claim an additional 25p for every £ you donate.

Bags of Help: Waltham Forest

Carers FIRST has been chosen as one of the organisations to be apart of the Bags of Help scheme run by Tesco. Between Sunday 1st July to Friday 31st August you will be able to cast your vote in store using the tokens given at the check-outs throughout the Borough. Any monies raised would be used to offer a variety of free positive, social activities to our 1,000 unpaid carers in Waltham Forest. All activities will help carers feel valued, respected and acknowledge, improve their self confidence, reduce stress, improve individual carers physical and mental health and ensure carers own emotional needs are met.
