We have received funding for the past six years from BBC Children in Need to employ a dedicated young carer worker in Medway. They run a programme of community based and digital 1-1 sessions and activities enabling young carers to access personalised support.
The funding is helping to reduce young carers feelings of loneliness, provide opportunities that non-carers enjoy, improve physical health and emotional wellbeing and boost resilience to better support then in their caring role.
