Learn how to recognise your rights as a carer this Carers Rights Day at our event in Hackney

Join the team at Carers First and other key professionals to discuss important carer related topics this Carers Rights Day, Thursday 21 November 2024. This year's theme is recognising your rights. These include: the rights to unpaid carers leave, the rights to flexible working, the right to ask your GP to identify you as a carer, being consulted when the person you care for is discharged from hospital, requesting carers assessment, the right and choice to have a flu jab, and protection against discrimination or harassment. It is crucial to learn about your rights in detail, in order to avoid being mistreated or disregarded as a carer, and learning how to advocate for yourself when it is necessary.
