Carers FIRST Business Leadership Team
Adam Rowe, Chief Executive Officer
Adam has lots of experience working within the not for profit sector having started at Shelter in the 90’s. He was was previously Chief Executive of Remap, a national charity helping people with disabilities achieve independence and a better quality of life. Prior to this he worked for Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) in a number of senior executive roles and he was also a trustee of homelessness charity Porchlight.
Caroline Pope, Chief Operating Officer
Caroline has been working for the charity since 2000 originally supporting parent carers. Caroline is instrumental in the geographical expansion of Carers FIRST and successful mobilisation of carer services leading the Operational Service Managers for each contract area.
Lynn Tyler, Finance Director
Lynn has worked for Carers FIRST since 2001 and manages multiple income streams from grants and contracts. Lynn manages a small finance team working across all localities.
Michele Leach, IT & Compliance Manager
Michele is responsible for the IT infrastructure and business systems for community and office based teams. Michele manages the continuous development of our bespoke Carer Management and Staff Management Systems. She leads and advises on IG & GDPR compliance and manages the Central Administration team.
Amy Weaver, Communications and Involvement Manager
Amy joined Carers FIRST in 2014 and is responsible for managing the central functions which include the Carers Hub, Community Involvement and partnership and stakeholder links for the new geographical areas. Amy leads on communication and the marketing of the charity including publicity materials, the website and communication with stakeholders across all localities.
Joanne Jackson, HR Manager
Jo joined Carers FIRST in 2017 having previously held the post of Head of Organisational Effectiveness at the Natural History Museum. Jo has 18 years HR experience, is a Chartered Member of the CIPD, HRM and experienced in TUPE & staff integration, staff recruitment, engagement, management, monitoring & development. Jo leads a team of 4 staff across all localities .
