Join us for a talk with Dr. Wendy Mitchell who was diagnosed with young-onset Vascular Dementia and Alzheimer’s in July 2014 at the age of 58. Since being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, Wendy has written three books, taken up photography and walked a 1,000ft high wire.
Wendy will join us to talk about her life, her determination to live in the here and now while also planning for a future, her daughters' future and how she wants to be supported by them and her fight to remain as independent as possible.
Wendy is a huge believer in raising awareness, having written three books

- Someone I used to Know
- One Last Thing: How to Live with the End in Mind
