Carers First was delighted to host a summer garden party for supporters and volunteers. The party, which took place Thursday 21 July, was held in the beautiful setting of Brome House in Kent.
The occasion was an opportunity to thank people who have contributed so much for carers and Carers First. Over 20 people attended the intimate gathering, with Carers First's Chief Executive, Alison Taylor, giving a short speech to express the gratitude of the charity.
One of the guests who attended was Iris Sell, who helped found Medway Carers in the 1990s which later merged with Carers First.
She said:
“It was a wonderful event in such a beautiful setting. It was so lovely to re-connect with old friends and meet people who are taking the charity forward.”
Carers First is looking forward to hosting further events with supporters and volunteers. For more information about supporting or volunteering for Carers First, find out more how you can get involved.
